Meet your new team within R&D
Making new health care products for the world isn’t just about developing the product in itself. It is also about developing the technology and machinery that can manufacture the products as efficiently and cost effectively as possible.
This is why we have the Manufacturing System Development department, which is tasked with providing optimal manufacturing solutions. The department consists of 7 senior project managers who work within the framework of the Global R&D Project Management organisation in Humlebæk.
The Project Management organisation consist of 30 leadership and management professionals who are dedicated to all facets of R&D development. We all work together cross functionally to ensure optimal alignment and output that strikes the right balance between design, usability, price and manufacturability.

Manage, inspire and set the direction for your department
As the director of Manufacturing System Development, it is up to you to ensure the continued development, efficiency and job satisfaction within the department. As a member of the Project Management leadership team, you will also drive initiatives which will shape the project management processes across R&D.

Amongst other responsibilities, you:
- Handle personnel related tasks such as performance reviews and recruitment interviews and strengthen the skills in the department through training and education
- Set clear direction and expectations for the department, monitoring quality and efficiency and providing advice and coaching when needed
- Secure the right resources, manufacturing plans, investment forecasts and other elements vital to the execution of projects
- Travel a maximum of 30 days per year to collaborate with and build a well-functioning network with colleagues in our international manufacturing sites and with partners
Experience with both management and R&D
As a manager, you aspire to lead through open and honest communication and by inspiring your team, seeking to understand their needs while constantly pushing for excellence.
Furthermore, you:
- Have extensive, proven experience with project management within a complex R&D function
- Have experience with line management either as a director, a head of department or a similar people management role
- Have international experience, either from working abroad, working with an international team or in an international environment
- Have experience from medical device manufacturing or a similar regulated industry
- Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in production or process engineering or some type of science or technology area
- Are fluent in both Danish and English
