A team at the front of innovation
At our offices in Humlebæk, you will be a part of our Mechanical Design team. We are dedicated to different development projects within the ostomy, continence and wound care categories, often in large project groups, along with other specialist teams throughout Coloplast.
“You and your team members are engineers allocated to new product development projects that need your expertise on anything related to mechanical development of medical device components. This makes you so important, and it gives you the opportunity to work on and influence various projects,” says Head of Mechanical Design Niels Peter Emme.
Lead, motivate, innovate
As the team lead, you will spend approximately half of your time on coordinating and prioritising activities in your team, ensuring team members are motivated, focused and always on track.
In this role, you will also work with the leadership team to influence the development of the mechanical design group. As such, you will have optimal opportunities to develop initiatives to improve our ways of working.
The other half of the time you will be allocated to development projects, working on technical designs and providing technical advice – and through that use your expertise to change the future of Coloplast products.

Apart from that, we are looking for you who:
- Have a background in mechanical engineering and plenty of experience with technical designs and product design documentation – preferably within the medical device industry
- May have some experience with being a team lead, manager or similar or as a minimum a great interest in becoming one
- Are experienced with 3D CAD (SolidWorks) and 2D drawings
- Have some experience with early phase development and prototyping
- Have experience with injection moulding and volume production
- Know about statistical process control
- Are fluent in Danish and English
