You will join our Business Development department in the global management team
As our new Business Development Consultant you will be part of an agile Business Development Team.
We are responsible for driving business development and strategy across Ramboll Management Consulting in Germany, Belgium, UK, US and the Nordic countries. We deliver within the field of Business Excellence, including providing insight on markets, competitors, and key clients. We drive the global strategy and business plan processes as well as are leading and implementing strategic initiatives. Lastly, we assist the global management teams on running the business including performance management.
The Business Development team works from Ramboll Head Office in Ørestad, but we are open to you being in any of these locations: Copenhagen, Aarhus, Hamburg, Berlin, Stockholm or Oslo. You will be the fourth member of our team, but you will work with colleagues from many other business areas within our global company. Our work culture is informal and appreciating of entrepreneurship.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Driving a variety of key projects and tasks, on both an operational, tactical and strategic level
- Conducting ad hoc based analyses on market and competitor outlooks
- Prepare structured and high-quality presentation material with a well-defined storyline
- Facilitate and drive deliverable in close collaboration with representative from relevant business support areas and business, while ensuring alignment and buy-in from key stakeholders

- A relevant MSc degree (e.g. Political Science, Economics, Business Administration) with excellent results
- 1+ years of experience with project management from a strategy/management consultancy or global organization, preferably within the field of sustainability and digitalization (environment, social, governance).
- Superior communication skills in English – both verbally and in writing
- Preferably domain knowledge within public sector and/or Ramboll’s engineering domains, such as the Energy, Transport, Buildings, Water or Architecture sectors.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Ability to address tasks strategically and develop solutions addressing the need of line of business
- Solid interpersonal skills and a strong motivation to drive change at all levels of the organization
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly (both verbally and in writing) and transform complex matters into a coherent storyline
