Your tasks:



Digital and data optimization management

Hands on administration & delivery of data-management project. The purpose of project is for you to map our data flows and optimize data transfer across the different teams using different systems and finally strengthen our reporting and internal processes. 

  • Recommendations of dataflow optimisation 

  • A data-hub connected to our different data sources (FileMaker, various SQL/XQL, Business Central, Booking system etc.) with PowerBI 

  • Relevant dashboards in PowerBI 

  • Setup SharePoint Site-templates 

  • Development & implementation must be based on an agile and user centred design approach (UX/UCD). The project involves a large group of system owners and stakeholders. 


Implementation project management

Handle the project management and implementation of a new PME and Risk tool.

  • Successful implementation of the new system. 

  • Adoption of the system throughout AADK.  

  • Guides/FAQs and learning materials for the system.  


  • Development & implementation must be based on an agile and user centred design approach (UX/UCD). The project involves Finance, PME/BI Lead Owner, Risk Management Lead and representatives of the main stakeholders such as project owners and Team leaders. 


Reporting and Budget management

For the period of 2020 and 2021, manage reporting on indicators measuring progress of the strategy.

  • Coordinate data input from the different stakeholders 

  • Consolidation and presentation of data overview in accordance with schedule and requirements 


A Few words about IT at AADK:


AADK has a clear Cloud strategy with a hybrid set up of servers on Azure and dedicated applications hosted by third part suppliers. Some of our core IT operations are internal; others are managed by partners and consultants. Our common IT universe is mainly based on O365 incl. Teams and SharePoint, while we also use Podio for some applications and Zoom for conferencing.

The IT group manages several large projects: a B2B Azure Federation with ActionAid; an International Digital Collaboration ‘Project Teams’ that aims to increase effectiveness and reduce our CO2 footprint; the transfer of our phone platform to Teams; and a portfolio of security efforts.

Among large scale projects managed by other teams supported by the IT group are: Digital Activism, Digital Learning, and Digital Engagement in Denmark.

The job requires:


We require you to have: 


  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience with BI development, e.g. producing management information from monitoring and evaluation systems. 

  • Experience in leading the design and building of Microsoft Power Apps combined with Automate, BI & cognitive functions; this includes having established new BI platforms combining various types of data in an intuitive format.

  • Success in translating complex business & functional requirements into operational technical designs.

  • Successful management of project deliveries with UCD approach and where you are the executor, but where you on larger deliveries will also be assisted by other internal and external resources.
  • A degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or similar.

  • Self-driven and proactive attitude and a genuine interest and passion for analytics. 

  • excellent in your communication, presentations, and stakeholder management skills. 


We expect you to have:


  • Experience with Azure Data Platform and understanding of cloud technology. 


  • Using Automate flows to improve user experience and integrations. 

  • Understand the importance of Data Modelling and the Visualisation of data. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. 

  • Preferably experience from an NGO or similar

The Team:


This position is within the People System Development team (PSD), which consist 6 persons and a team manager: IT group of three persons incl. an IT Operations coordinator & Project Manager and three HR specialists. They all love a good laugh and work together in a collegial fashion.

The IT digitalisation specialist will report to the Head of PSD and work closely with the IT Operations coordinator & Project Manager 

The IT group focuses on internal digitalisation and improvement of our cooperation platforms; on supporting digitalisation of business; on processing end users; and implementing our new InfoSec Policy; and the group participates in developing a digital innovation culture which embraces the needs of volunteers and external partners, and our federation collaborators.
