As the Lead Digital Value Architect you will guide the organization to focus on high ROI and high synergy digital & data-driven initiatives while ensuring that the right data is used in an effective manner in identifying, quantifying, prioritizing, actioning and monitoring of such initiatives.

In addition, you will serve as an ambassador for (customer) value-driven resource allocation.

Key responsibilities


Data Insights (DI) Governance:
• Evaluate, align, synthesize and monitor data mining requirements, capabilities and tools; taking appropriate decisions and liaise to ensure buy-in and adoption
• Design and establish holistic DI governance framework, which identifies overlaps, synergies and technical feasibility of data mining initiatives and facilitates alignment with strategic company goals
• Design and establish generic DI Target Operating Model (TOM) as a blueprint, intended to serve as a canvas to efficiently and effectively manage individual DI initiatives along their entire life-cycle

DI Excellence:
• Support selected, high profile projects with data mining expertise (SME role)
• Identify synergetic measures applicable to data mining project execution (e.g. building blocks usable across the firm) and drive their realization
• Design and orchestrate DI capability uplift program; serve as trainer
• Actively advocate for data mining opportunities, capabilities and utilization where appropriate

QED Catalyst:
• Actively advise on data-mining opportunities to streamline and optimize QED value proposition
• Build and operate small scale data-driven QED accelerators

We are looking for


A person who brings enthusiasm and energy to identify, prioritize, quantify, action and monitoring data-driven value initiatives in a global organization - ready to take on this challenge using their capabilities to engage independently with multiple stakeholders internally and externally.

You have a background with solid experience in a similar role with business process understanding, including underlying software; shipping and/or logistics experience is a plus, but not a requirement.

Furthermore you have:

• A structured approach to root cause problem solving

• Experience with various enterprise/analytics architectures

• Experience working with visual analytics solutions

• Experience working in large, multinational companies

• An entrepreneurial mindset and thorough understanding of current tech trends, as well as innovative approaches & solutions (e.g. cloud, AI/ML, blockchain, RPA)

• Business level English – oral and written

• Confident and engaging communication skills across all levels of seniority.
