Become a part of our Product and Commercial Management team in the Water Division
Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and one of the world’s leading manufacturer of intelligent metering solutions. We experience significant demand for our products and focus massively on development and production of intelligent metering equipment and systems for energy and water consumption. Because of an increased demand for our innovative and intelligent solutions worldwide, we are looking for a Business Development Manager with focus on developing software and services to our water business.

In the newly establish position as Business Development Manager for Software and Service, you will have a direct reference to our Head of Product and Commercial Management and become a part of our Water Division. We are focusing on delivering high quality solutions and services that creates transparency and reduce water loss and you will as Business Development Manager have the opportunity to influence Kamstrup’s future software and service solutions.

Business Development Manager with the ability to develop our future concept for software and service
To succeed in the role as Business Development Manager for Software and Service, it is important that you are able to inspire Kamstrup with hands on experience and new perspectives on how to develop and commercialize a software and service driven business model. You will be responsible for taking the lead on developing a portfolio strategy and product roadmap which links our business ambitions with concrete actions and goals. You do so by applying a strong market and customer perspective.

More specific you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing market requirements and insights on customers’ needs and pains regarding software and service offerings
  • Identifying business, market and customer potential
  • Developing a software and service portfolio strategy to meet market & customer requirements
  • Conceptualize and commercialize future software and service solutions to target specific markets, segments and customers
  • Leading value based innovation projects targeting specific customer segments and market opportunities
  • Establishing an agile sprint-approach to market piloting of new software and service elements

Personality matters
You hold a Master’s degree within IT, software or technology based business development and have at least 5+ years of international experience as Business Development Manager or Software Product Manager from a IT, software or data driven service business. You have successfully demonstrated results from a similar position with focus on software growth and profitability.

In addition, it is a requirement that you have:

  • Experience with commercialization of data, software and service offerings
  • Experience with leading and developing software and service driven business models
  • International experience with market analysis, segmentation, requirements, business cases, go-to-market strategy, value-based pricing

As a person you are an experienced change manager with the capabilities to lead sustainable change across functions and to deliver growth and profitability with our new software and service strategy. You are a strong communicator and good in front of and in collaboration with customers and relevant stakeholders. You have a commercial mindset and the ability to challenge to ensure the best solutions.

You are fluent in English both written and oral. Danish will be an asset.
