Apply today for a life-changing career!   The position Your main responsibility will be to contribute to clinical trial development within cardiovascular diseases, chronic kidney diseases and Alzheimer’s disease. As such you will be part of a cross-functional trial team where you will take an active role in evaluating clinical trial data and be part of a team of statisticians and programmers working on creating tables and figures for reporting of the trial results. Depending on your experience you will either drive or take part in:
  • Statistical analyses of clinical trials and supporting colleagues in the area on other studies

  • Ad hoc requests to the projects requiring statistical expertise from internal collaborators and health authorities

    • During the conduct of our clinical trials, you will be interacting with many different stakeholders such as medical doctors, safety surveillance advisers, medical writers, data managers and more – collaboration and stakeholder management skills are therefore important.   Qualifications The ideal candidate should have: 
  • Strong background in mathematics and statistics corresponding to MSc level

  • 3+ years of experience as a statistician within clinical or biostatistical research 

    • Or a PhD in a field relevant to the role It will be a strong advantage if you have: 
  • Hands-on knowledge of R, SAS, or other programming languages

  • Experience from a pharmaceutical company or another global organisation in a highly regulated industry

    • About the department Our Biostatistics organisation is almost 400 people with the majority located in Denmark and India, and smaller teams in China, Japan, Spain, UK and US.
