Then, this is your chance as we are looking for COA Managers in Medical & Science, Patient Focused Drug Development (PFDD). Apply today! The position As a COA manager, you will play a key role in developing COA strategies and be responsible for the development, validation, and implementation of fit-for-purpose COAs in clinical trials within our therapeutic areas of interest. Your involvement spans the entire drug development life cycle, from early planning to trial execution and finally communication of the achieved outcomes related to COA. You will work closely with stakeholders from clinical drug development, medical affairs, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), and marketing, as well as various external vendors and advisors to support the execution of daily COA tasks. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to:
  • Hold a master’s degree or above in a relevant field such as health economics, pharmacy, public health, psychology, or epidemiology
  • 4+ years’ experience in COA development and validation methods with knowledge of collection, analysis, and reporting of qualitative and quantitative data
  • Preferably have knowledge of clinical drug development and relevant regulatory guidelines
  • Have strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Be fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Have the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, and balance workload and timelines
  • As a person, you have a high degree of independence and are result-oriented. You are able to set strategic directions and make highly impactful decisions based on effective communication and close collaboration across multiple functions. Strong stakeholder management skills and a solution-oriented approach are essential for successfully driving projects and tasks in a timely manner. Most importantly, you are a lifelong learner and welcome the opportunity to develop new skills and gain further experience in patient focused drug development. About the department Medical & Science, PFDD is part of Medical & Science Centre of Expertise. The purpose of Medical & Science Centre of Expertise is to connect the Medical & Science organization while driving scientifically sound medical deliverables across the Novo Nordisk project portfolio. The team includes two departments: PFDD and Scientific Excellence. There are in total 20 employees with highly diverse backgrounds including medical experts, health economists, and competency development professionals. Medical & Science, PFDD has one Senior Director, five COA Managers, one Clinical Patient Preference Manager, and one PFDD Professional.
