About the department

People Support is part of Global People & Organisation in Novo Nordisk and consists of 16 highly engaged and professional employees. We function as the one-point-of-entry for approximately 18.000 employees and managers in Denmark, where we provide guidance on HR administrative matters via the “People Support” phone and email help desk. Furthermore, we handle a full range of HR administrative tasks related to employees, external consultants, organisational data management, training and compensation administration. We work closely together as a team with focus on efficient execution and great customer service in collaboration with our sister department in Bangalore.

The position

The position is limited to 12 months of duration. Your primary tasks will be general personnel administration in the HR IT system (SAP HR) handling requests from Line of Business and take part in our helpdesk function where we provide guidance by phone/ e-mail on specific terms and conditions in Novo Nordisk and provide user support. The majority of our personnel administration tasks are handled by our colleagues in Bangalore but we cooperate on a daily basis supporting them on complex cases.

We focus continuously on optimising, standardising, documenting and offshoring our work processes using LEAN principles and therefore, several employees in the team take part in improvement initiatives and participate in project teams across the organisation.

Qualifications

You have an administrative background combined with several years of professional experience from a similar HR function or an academic background within HR or employment law. You must be experienced with the MS Office package, be skilled with SAP HR, have a strong interest in employee terms and conditions and ideally also experience from a “help desk” set-up.

You are good at communicating clearly and accurately and are able to collaborate with all levels of the organisation and you possess very good Danish and English language skills.

You have a strong customer mind-set and a professional approach with a can-do attitude reflected by a desire to take initiative and find solutions to the benefit of our customers and stakeholders.

You are robust and able to keep calm under pressure and you thrive with operational tasks and short deadlines.
