The Marine HR Specialist is an important role in the Marine People Europe function, who are embarking on an exciting journey to strengthen our overall engagement with our seafarers.

The role will, in close collaboration with the People Advisor Team, drive and manage all engagements with the Seafarers from Europe.

We offer


An exciting role where you will be the specialist in the different CBAs as well as employment law for the nationalities we engage with.

You will be the go-to person for the team on all issues related to CBAs and employment law.

Key responsibilities


• Support with implementing CBAs and engage in conversations with unions and workers councils

• Statutory reporting

• Local authority point of contact for special projects

• Disciplinary and grievance assistance to the People Advisor Team when required

• Handling P&I claims

• Reviewing and maintaining SOP’s

• Support work in Danske Rederier.

We are looking for


The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge within Marine HR and will take on a specialist role driving key work related to employment law, CBAs and work at Danske Rederier.

You will engage with Payroll and lead the reporting required.

You:

• Have the capabilities to engage independently with multiple stakeholders and an ability do drive things to completion

• Will work closely with the People Advisor Team of EEU and NEU and report directly to the Head of Marine People Europe

• Have strong knowledge within Marine HR law

• Have the ability to work with remote team members and stakeholders

• Have good communication skills

• Have a strong analytical mindset

• Have good presentation skills

In this role it is key that you speak and write Danish at a high level as well as an excellent level of English in speaking and writing (Dutch and German would be an advantage as well).
