About the department

In Global Development we are responsible for clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to market approval, as well as life cycle management. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions to authorities while ensuring that the processes live up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics.

The position is within one of five Trial Operation departments in the GLP-1, CV and Outcomes area. The Senior Trial Manager will be reporting to the Director of the department and will be working with Trial Managers, Trial Start up Managers, Trial Project Managers and Clinical Trial Administrators.

The position

As Senior Trial Manager you will work with pragmatic trials and be involved in various tasks from the start to the end of a trial cycle. You will be part of setting up pragmatic trials in a real-life setting, developing trial documentation and manuals, provide input to clinical IT systems etc. Since this is a newly established role, it is an advantage that you are experienced within this area, you are innovative and is interested in strengthening your own expertise by working scientifically and base your decisions on the newest scientific research.

Qualifications

We expect you to have a MSc/BSc in natural science or equivalent. It is an advantage that you have experience or interest working with pragmatic trials, low-intervention studies or other forms of RWE trials.

You have solid trial management experience of at least 4 years and an ability to balance quality with a drive to meet challenging deadlines. In this role it is essential that you make risk-based prioritisation of issues and situational adjustment of tasks and actions. You adjust quickly in a continuously developing environment, where you thrive solving complex challenges. You are structured, proactive and have a proven track record of ensuring that trial activities progress within the given timelines and in accordance with the trial budget.
