Join us and become Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Partner within Product Supply.

About the department
You will join Novo Nordisk Supply Chain, recently mentioned as top 7 European Supply Chain by Gartner. You will collaborate with 7 highly skilled colleagues in the Sales & Operations Planning Process Execution team. The department is responsible for execution of the monthly S&OP process, volume budgeting, and several other activities related to tactical planning and balancing our supplies with the global demand of all Novo Nordisk products. In all we do, we strive to enable a strong and stable supply to our patients and high performance in the supply chain.

The position
You will act as S&OP partner for a specific business area, focusing on balancing supply and demand for several production sites across the world (Denmark, China, Russia, Iran, Algeria). You will work closely together with the demand managers located centrally in the sales regions or in the affiliates, to get insights into the markets we supply. Together with the production sites, your role will then be to drive analysis and recommendations to fix the potential demand/supply imbalances.

All of this calls for analysing data related to supply and demand, collaborating with stakeholders in identifying recommendations and actions to ensure supply and demand balance. You will also get the chance to present these recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications
You probably have a Master’s degree within a relevant business education (e.g. M.Sc. in Supply Chain Management or engineering) or experience equivalent to that. You probably have some years of experience and are passionate about Supply Chain Management and Sales and Operations Planning. Experience with ERP systems (SAP APO) and super user in Excel is preferred. Your analytical skills enable you to focus on key information and see through complexity. Your ability to interact and engage with stakeholders in a positive manner is a natural part of the way you work.
