About the department

As part of Novo Nordisk’s R&D family, CMC Development makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture and distribute drug candidates for non-clinical and clinical trials which is a complicated journey that requires about 10 years of dedicated work in CMC Development. CMC Development is an ambitious organisation with a strong culture. We always seek to solve problems, have an eye for the entire business and do our best to deliver despite any obstacles along the way.

The job is anchored in the department CMC Training & Statistics, which key mission is to execute strategic initiatives across CMC together with highly competent colleagues across the organisation within training and through statistical support and process optimisation.

The department consists of 12 highly engaged colleagues with different scientific background, ranging from administrative coordinators, project manager, process governance specialist and statisticians

All our work and the strategy for the direction set within GxP Training is done in close cooperation with the local training people, subject matter experts and their management teams, together ensuring the right competences amongst the employees working in our organisation.

We have recently increased the focus on digitalisation and the use of training technologies within the development and execution of training. We have very high ambitions within this area and are still just in the beginning of the journey.

Our primary target groups consist of the Operators, Supporters, Laboratory Technicians, Professionals and their Managers, and all solutions aim at providing optimal support of their competence development and performance.

The job

You will play a key role in defining, developing and driving CMC Development´s digital training agenda in cooperation with the training organisation, senior management and stakeholders across the organisation.

Your main task will be to set the overall direction for Digital Training through development of best practices and standards to be used across the organisation, while also ensuring successful implementation of pilot projects in local areas in order to determine which solutions provide optimal value for a diverse set of local business needs. In particular, you will lead the identification of relevant technologies and their applicability on the organisation, and together with a Project Manager you will be responsible for the development and implementation of scalable and effective solutions.

Qualifications

You have at least 3 years of relevant experience with developing and implementing competence development programs in, preferably regulated, organisations. You might have supplemented your academic degree with training in other relevant areas e.g. Agile Project Management or LEAN/Six Sigma. Experience with a range of digital learning technologies and/or behavioural design is a big advantage.

Ideally, you have:

  • A Master´s Degree within IT, Learning & Development, Engineering, or other relevant areas supplemented with training in other relevant areas e.g. Agile Project Management or LEAN/Six Sigma
  • 3+ years of experience within digital media/technology development and implementation
  • relevant experience with developing and implementing competence development programs in international, and preferably also regulated, organisations.
  • Experience within online training/Learning & Development solutions (via digital tools, Learner Experience platforms, e-learning, Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality)
  • Experience within User Experience Design
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (verbally and in writing/presentations)
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is expected
