We seek a Marketing Manager to make an immediate impact in our fast-paced and growth-focused Road Division.

DSV Road is dedicated to delivering full loads, part loads and groupage shipments in Europe, North America, South Africa and some Middle East countries.

Focus is on growing Groupage for Europe. DSV has more than 200 terminals and 300 offices in Europe.

DSV Road is at a turning point and has an ambition of becoming the most digitalized groupage provider and be top of mind of potential customers across the large markets in Europe.

As our new Marketing Manager, you will join our Global Corporate Marketing and Communication department in a global role working out of the DSV headquarters in Denmark. As part of this team, you will collaborate with marketing specialists, communication consultants, brand manager, as well as a range of carefully selected external agencies.

You will be reporting to the CCO of the DSV Road division, situated in The Netherlands and deciding on the products, services, and customers for focus on.

You will work with account-based marketing with a strong sales focus across a wide variety of channels and platforms on social media, website, programmatic advertising, search and e-mail automation and supporting sales in creating attention for Road services resulting in quality leads for the business. Expect travel to both the Netherlands and to larger DSV Road countries.

Your most important tasks

  • Align budgets and prioritize the marketing projects
  • Document and manage the marketing projects and all the stakeholders involved
  • Manage consultants and creative bureaus on quality, cost and time
  • Ensure the deliverables of marketing projects are effectively rolled out and adopted by the organization
  • Activate DSV Road services across communications channels such as SoMe, Search, E-mail automation, website and paid advertisement.
  • Initiate, promote and activily manage and reuse best practise from countries
  • Ensure consistent sales material, presentations leaflets and maintain service catalogue
  • Continuously develop and suggest new activities that can move the needle in terms of sales and brand
  • Optimise campaigns and follow up on ROI
  • Supporting sales with events, meetings, presentations etc.

Key aspects about you

  • Have a keen interest in digital marketing
  • Experience with activation on social media, email automation, content marketing, web and search
  • Great stakeholder management skills and ability to work cross functional at all levels
  • Done campaigning on both owned, earned and paid media
  • Have a logical, analytical and structured approach to work
  • Convincing communicator and engaged collaborator
  • Self-driven and motivated by delivering great results
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage and motivate all levels in the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Are solution oriented and not afraid to challenge the status quo

Your qualifications to succeed

  • BSc, MSc or similar in a related area with preferably 6-8 years of digital B2B marketing experience
  • Excellent written and oral English language skills (DSV corporate language)
  • Super-user in Microsoft Office
  • Good analytics skills in order to plan, execute and optimize campaigns
  • Experience with freight forwarding, preferable road transport is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
