Responsibilities
Main goals and responsibilities are to accelerate product growth by:
Championing the Customer
- Coordinate and execute customer research for defining and validating key product hypotheses, such as product-market fit, definition of target customer, pricing strategy
- Create competitive overview of industry and products with deliverables such as communicating product differentiation.
- Develop buyer persona and customer segmentation as a resource for product development and marketing programs.
- Collate and deliver regular stream of customer product feedback such as support issues, sales feedback, Gong and other channels to the Product Units.
Communicating Product Value
- Develop product messaging and positioning framework leveraged internally for content, support and sales to ensure consistent outbound message.
- Together with Product Experts, train Product Development, Sales and Marketing on who the customer is and how the product helps them.
- Develop and internally coordinate marketing launch plans (go-to-market plans) to ensure consistent messaging. Provide all stakeholders (e.g., release management, sales, marketing, support) with what they need from a product communication perspective.
- Create content and collaterals communicating product value: website product pages, product-sheets, videos, etc.
Driving Product Distribution
- Share customer and product knowledge with different departments to help choose the most effective distribution approach and channels (e.g., ensure that marketing creates assets relevant to the target audience, that sales focuses on what’s relevant to the target audience, etc.)
- Provide ownership and accountability for overall performance of product marketing efforts, such as marketing/agency coordination and performance metrics.
- Monitor the performance of the distribution channels and suggest corrective measures to ensure top performance.
- Oversee and utilize Product Experts for marketing programs such as webinars, offline events, marketing campaigns often in collaboration with other functions
What We Require of You
- You have at least 5 years’ experience developing marketing plans, and executing and tracking go to market campaigns, preferably in B2B / Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technology company with progressive growth or equivalent
- You have a deep understanding of market and audience segmentation.
- You master modern storytelling by building narratives, targeted to customers and/or partners, to Create an emotional connection that drives demand and brand reputation.
- Knowledge and experience with web accessibility, analytics solutions and SEO tools is a plus.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or related field, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
