Milestone Systems is currently looking for an ambitious marketing professional to join the regional marketing team in EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa). As Regional Marketing Manager you will have the ownership of the planning and execution of the marketing plan for our Middle Europe region (MEU) – which consists of Benelux and DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). You will work alongside a group of skilled, motivated and passionate colleagues focused on driving growth for the business in EMEA. We aim high, we work together, and we have fun.
The role
This role is a maternity cover 14 months, with the potential of being the steppingstone to a career in Milestone. The Regional Marketing Manager reports directly to the Head of EMEA Regional Marketing, placed at the headquarter in Brøndby, Denmark. Other primary stakeholders are the MEU region’s sales manager and -team, as well as colleagues in the Corporate Marketing teams. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment liaising between multiple stakeholders. Due to the diverse nature of the job’s responsibilities it is also important that you can function well under pressure, multitask, and work well both independently and in teams.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Develop and execute on marketing programs and keep full control of a regional marketing budget
- Take advantage of the latest marketing automation technology, to design and implement lead follow up flows and nurture contacts
- Own Milestone’s presence at regional trade shows and arrange events and road shows across the region. You work closely with Milestone alliance and channel partners to support joint marketing initiatives.
- Build and roll out regional campaigns, product launches and webinars targeting our partners and end customers. Sometimes related marketing collaterals are provided by Corporate Marketing; in other cases, you build the assets yourself – often in cooperation with your peers in the other EMEA regions and with support from our creative department.
- Maintain a close dialogue with the region’s sales colleagues and manager, to evaluate performance and business requirements. You keep your sales teams updated on upcoming marketing activities, results achieved and new materials available.
Your professional background
We picture you having a minimum of 3-4 years of marketing experience, maybe as a senior marketing assistant in an international marketing department or agency, or you have been leading the marketing execution in a country. Now you are ready to take the next step in your professional career and carry the responsibility of a larger region.
A degree in Marketing or equivalent education is required. Competencies in SoMe and Digital Marketing tactics and tools is a big plus.
Skills
- Experience with building marketing plans and -budgets, and the understanding of segmentation, value propositions and marketing automation is needed
- Experienced Microsoft Office user (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Event and trade show experience is a plus
- User experience with Salesforce CRM gives you an advantage
- Good communication skills – both written and oral
- Fluent English on business level is required. Understanding of German and some knowledge of any of the region’s other languages (Dutch/French) is a plus.
