Can you craft razor-sharp, compelling copy? Shape engaging content that resonates with audiences across touch points? Then this is your golden opportunity to join the in-house marketing team of a global video software developer.

We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced native-speaking English copywriter to join our Brand Studio. The successful candidate will be a skilled all-round communicator who can handle a diverse assortment of tasks ranging from product, web and campaign copywriting to video script writing and content marketing tactics.

You’ll need to be adept at expressing ideas, telling stories and making sometimes complex technology accessible and engaging. You will work closely with your fellow creatives and cross-departmental stakeholders to create value for Milestone and achieve results.

The position is located at Milestone global headquarters in Brøndby, Copenhagen. The position reports to the Manager of Content & Storytelling, a team within our Brand Studio. Brand Studio is a fun and diverse department of creatives that works closely with our broader Marketing & Communications division.

Your overall responsibilities will include:

  • Writing strong, creative copy and crisp, catchy headlines
  • Creative concept development together with marketing managers graphic designers, art directors and video specialists
  • Copy for marketing campaigns, video scripts, e-books, sales collateral, invites, event materials, ads, social media posts and newsletters
  • Brand guideline updates, proofing & alignment
  • Proofreading, editing and fact-checking to ensure copy is accurate and clearly written
  • Closely collaborating with other communications specialists to align writing styles with Milestone’s tone-of-voice, writing guidelines and value propositions
  • Keeping up to date on market trends, product releases and competitors

The qualifications and requirements we’re looking for:

  • Native equivalency in English who can write American English flawlessly
  • A relevant education on at least BA level within communications, marketing, journalism or similar
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a copywriter where you have been writing for marketing and communication at an agency, company or media outlet
  • The ability to understand complex technical products and make a clear message that is easy to understand
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing communication and commercial messaging
  • Experience using storytelling to engage and persuade
  • Excels at stakeholder management, juggling projects, and vocalizing input and feedback
  • Proficient skills using Microsoft Office and ideally Adobe Creative Suite
  • Preferably software and BTB experience, which is not a requirement
  • Preferably experience in conceptualizing and writing video scripts
  • The ability to navigate effectively in an environment of growth and rapid change
  • Knowledge of SEO copywriting is a definite bonus
