And Join Novo Nordisk for a Life-changing career - Novo Nordisk The position Reporting to the Vice President of Customer Engagement, your role is to lead the team and drive innovation and organisational change in Global Digital Engagement Strategy and Digital Media Excellence. You will set the strategic direction for the global customer engagement model, and drive and strategically evolve the Digital Media function and team. The role has four direct reports in Denmark and 12 indirect reports in Bangalore, India. Specifically, responsibilities include:
  • Drive an omnichannel, data-driven approach to digital engagement strategy
  • Establish a global Customer Experience (CX) framework, defining how any interaction with Novo Nordisk across all platforms can be leveraged to deliver a proactive and responsive insight-driven experience
  • Co-create and co-own global digital engagement strategy for prioritised brands and roll it out to our top 10 markets
  • Strategically evolve the Digital Media function, including defining the vision, delivering strong execution of paid media investments, evolving the data foundation and securing the marketing technology infrastructure as a foundation
  • Own paid media budget handling between Google, Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, etc.) and internal digital media customers (global teams, regions and affiliates)
  • Own partnerships with Global Media Agency Partners including selection, assessment, contracting and evaluation in alignment with Contract CoE, Procurement and Finance
  • Qualifications To thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
  • +5 years proven experience as a people leader of senior subject matter experts
  • Relevant master’s degree in business, media, marketing, communication, or similar
  • 10 years of proven strategic and hands-on experience with digital engagement strategy and planning, customer journey mapping, and media execution
  • Deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and how different touchpoints (digital and face-2-face) play a role in the customer experience
  • Proven strategic, analytical, and commercial mindset
  • Understanding of how to optimise media investments and enable digital media capabilities to drive stronger business impact
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English
  • It is an advantage to have:
  • Background within the pharmaceutical industry
  • On a personal level, you are a great team player and excel at stakeholder management as you will be working across a complex matrix organisation consisting of HQ, International Operations, North America Operations, Regions, and Affiliates.
