Are you excited by understanding complex commercial market dynamics our product portfolio and assessing the impact of strategic decisions and initiatives? Do you have the analytical skills and experience from the pharmaceutical industry to forecast the performance of Novo Nordisk products globally? Can you process and combine information from multiple sources to synthesize forecasts for the Diabetes, Obesity and OSCD (Other Serious Chronic Diseases, like Nash, CVD and Alzheimer’s ) market? If so, apply today as you might be the person that we are looking for! The Position The job concerns forecasting and market insight generation within commercial in Novo Nordisk. Depending on the specific responsibilities mentioned below, it involves interaction with key brands, affiliates/regions and senior management in support of decision-making and strategy development at brand, portfolio and corporate level. Your main tasks will include:
  • Leading the preparation of high-quality forecasts for key products on a regional and/or global level, including Long Term Forecast (LTF)
  • Lead the preparation of best-in-class market analyses and long-term market projections to senior management to enable strategic and operational decision-making
  • Impact key stakeholders and maintain strong partnership with key stakeholders, which include partners in CS&CA, Regions, Top-10 affiliates, Finance and Product Supply, to ensure alignment and successful attainment of common targets
  • Drive and optimise the key process or processes in the department, such as forecasting or guidance processes
  • Responsible for forecasting sales across Diabetes, Obesity and OSCD as well as the broader product portfolio for one of Novo Nordisk’s sales regions.
  • In addition to driving portfolio forecasts and projects across therapy areas, you will support our Diabetes, Obesity and OSCD commercial unit in driving strategic analyses globally as well as assessing the sales potential of late-stage development projects. Across all your responsibilities you will be responsible for analysis of data and critical business information from various sources to shape insights and recommendations to enable strategic decisions especially within Diabetes, Obesity and OSCD. You will also be deeply involved in communicating key insights and analyses to relevant stakeholders across the organisation. Occasionally, mentor, coach and train less experience employees such as graduates, newly hired colleagues and Interns. Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Natural Sciences/Engineering/Business/Economics
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience from the pharmaceutical/biotech industry and/or as consultant
  • Experience with management consulting or project management or business analysis
  • Solid communication and influencing skills
  • Fluent in English, and have high proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
