About the department
The Global Information Security Management department is based in Global IT in Denmark. You will be part of a global information security community with more than 50 colleagues located primarily in Denmark, USA, and India.
In Global IT, we manage critical IT systems, services and infrastructure used along the entire value chain of Novo Nordisk. You will be joining an organisation of more than 1000 colleagues in Global IT. Our users across Novo Nordisk are at the centre of our work.
Our team consists of leading experts in various areas ranging from network security, white hat hacking, cloud security, cryptography, security operations, to manufacturing security and security risk management and governance.
We sit and work closely with our colleagues in Global Security Operations which fosters a high level of knowledge sharing and makes the team an exciting place to work.
The job
You will work with cloud and infrastructure security projects that help Novo Nordisk achieve our business goals. You will work closely with different stakeholders in both Line of Business, Global IT and in Global Information Security to ensure that advice and guidance aligns with the goals and strategy of Novo Nordisk.
As part of your daily job you will assess existing solutions and design the future landscape.
The job is located in Bagsværd, Denmark with travel activity of max. 30 days per year.
The position involves a high level of independence and ability to manage and prioritise your time and work, just as a high workload can be expected in peak periods.
Qualifications
We expect that you have 5-10 years of experience within the field of Information security. You are familiar with enterprise IT technical architecture and have a solid understanding of IT security, cloud infrastructure security, and cloud application security.
You have strong communication skills and are capable of building relationships and engaging people at all levels of the organisation.
You have at least a bachelor’s degree within IT, or comparable education. In addition to this, you have relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CISA, or knowledge and experience equivalent to these certifications. You may also possess cloud vendor security certifications, such as AWS Security Speciality or desire to obtain such.
You may have experience with public cloud environments and services (AWS, Azure and/or Google) or have a software development background or have worked in DevOps with Docker-based and Serverless microservices applications. This is not a requirement as curiosity and willingness to learn is more important.
As a person you are known to be positive and diplomatic. It is easy to panic over all the IT security threats arising in the world, and you must be able to keep cool and find realistic solutions that can work without breaking all budgets and timelines.
You are fluent in written and spoken English.
