The position
As a Senior Project Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
• Leading multiple both short- and long-term projects of various levels of complexity within process management, optimisation and improvement as well as related to the quality of the product during life cycle management activities
• Working in close collaboration with our process managers, product specialists and experts
• Making a difference in close collaboration with the production sites by implementing novel solutions based on data-driven decisions and in accordance with GMP regulations
• Focusing on innovation and optimization of the processes in our production facilities in Biotech and Rare Disease (BRD) area and utilise our test laboratory to further increase focus on science and implementation of new technology
It will be a key factor in your success that you are curious and get an in-depth understanding of our organization and processes. This will include collaboration with various stakeholders across Novo Nordisk on many organisational levels and include external input of industry practise.
You can expect a position with a high degree of independence where good communication skills are a must, including the ability to target your communication to a broad set of stakeholders at all organisational levels ensuring clear argumentation to ease decision making for senior management.
Qualifications
You will be a great asset to our team because you have:
• A master’s degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Biology, or other relevant education
• Working experience as a Project Manager and a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects with stakeholders on all levels
• Experience from the pharmaceutical industry is a must whereas experience such as process or product support, transfer or process validation, process optimisation, aseptic production processes and implementing new technologies will be a plus
• A high level of Business understanding is appreciated
• Fully proficient in both written and spoken English and preferably also in Danish

About the department
Our team is part of the Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) Manufacturing Development & Quality Control area that has its base in Denmark. What other companies call Manufacturing Science & Analytical Technology (MSAT) we call Manufacturing Development. We are app. 460 colleagues who are the end-to-end station for product and process development for all BRD production facilities, driving innovation both when it comes to industry 4.0 technology and expansion of the product portfolio. Our area also includes the Quality Control unit for all BRD’s products. Together we drive change by always looking for improvements within our processes and in the way we work to make our products reach as many patients as possible.
