We are looking for a skilled and passionate Product Owner in Novo Nordisk Quality to be part of an agile development journey for IT in the Supply Chain at the affiliate level and take on an exciting role in the digitalization journey for our supply chain.
The position
You will be working in an agile environment where we shape solutions and do several things for the first time whilst continuously learning. Given that you will be working in an area where we are digitalizing for the first time, there will be a lot of unknowns.
The job as a Product Owner in Novo Nordisk Quality entails driving the development and ensuring a future-proof solution for the handling of temperature excursions in Novo Nordisk. You will work closely with the supply chain, quality functions in affiliates globally, colleagues in Global Business Services(GBS) in India supporting this new system, and with the team in Denmark.
A broad range of system activities such as, but not limited to responsibility for the delivery of world-class system improvement and new functionalities ensuring that they meet business requirements. You will be working in close collaboration with our Indian organization as well as the Danish organization. You will also be involved in communication with the user community in Novo Nordisk.

You need to be fully proficient in English both written and spoken and a solid communicator with a strong personal dedication and ambition. The job as a Product Owner in Novo Nordisk Quality entails driving the development and ensuring a future-proof solution for the handling of temperature excursions in Novo Nordisk. You will work closely with the supply chain, quality functions in affiliates globally, colleagues in Global Business Services(GBS) in India supporting this new system, and with the team in Denmark.
A broad range of system activities such as, but not limited to responsibility for the delivery of world-class system improvement and new functionalities ensuring that they meet business requirements. You will be working in close collaboration with our Indian organization as well as the Danish organization. You will also be involved in communication with the user community in Novo Nordisk.
Your main tasks would be to:
- Cross-functional and high complexity project- and stakeholder management.
- Support during deviation and problem investigations that include deep-dive investigations into system functionalities, business processes, dialogue with software developers as well as Quality Advisors etc to identify impacted areas/functionality as well as communication to stakeholders
- Build, prioritize and maintain team backlog
- Prepare your team for PI planning activities, drive the PI planning and support in other agile events
- Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders in refining features and help the team in clarifying stories, defects, enablers, and priorities
- Convert ideas into practical actions supporting the users on the journey towards a paperless process by driving the changes of new functionality in accordance with business processes
- Collaborate with the Product Management team on Super User Communication to ensure that users are always up to date in regards to new functionalities, new areas and other relevant information
- Take part of System Releases in an Agile Setup, ensuring new functionality is in line with LoB requirements including updates of relevant documentation such as requirements and user guides
- In close collaboration with the training partner, support new sites being onboarded into the new system
Qualifications
- You have a relevant degree (MSc) in e.g. science, business, engineering or IT.
- You have solid experience with IT project work covering specification, design, development, and implementation of IT solutions.
- You have a proven track record within change management, being able to make decisions and lead change
- You have agile knowledge and/or training.
- You feel confident collaborating and negotiating with external parties, primarily vendors, and with LoB
- Experience in working with IT projects in regulated industry is an advantage
