The position is a maternity cover in the specific role, but the position is permanent, with a change of content at the end of the maternity period.
The position
As our new Investment Partner, you will be member of the team called Investment Management within the area Contract Manufacturing & Sourcing, Devices & Sustainability (CSDS) within Novo Nordisk production. You will be partnering the area of Local Manufacturing (LM) and be part of supporting an investment portfolio of more than 1 bDKK. Local Manufacturing has the responsibility for production in e.g., Algeria, Iran and Japan so the working environment is multi-cultural, and the majority of stakeholders are non-Danes located abroad.
As Investment Partner, you will have the following responsibilities:
• Drive the investment budget and reporting processes with a focus on cost and resource allocation
• Be a trusted business partner for Local Manufacturing management using your financial insights to enable sound decision making
• Collaborate closely with ambitious and talented stakeholders, often with non-financial backgrounds
The job also includes responsibilities and tasks across all CSDS investment areas in a good mix of periodical tasks and ad hoc tasks. Many tasks will arise out of the vast expansion within Novo Nordisk’s production area and could include responsibility for:
• Ensuring compliance with governance structures
• Initiating and managing optimisation projects
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you possess:
• Strong financial background with a Master’s degree within Finance, Economics or Accounting (cand.merc., cand.oecon., cand.polit or similar)
• Project controlling experience would be useful
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Proficiency in Excel is essential
• Proficiency in written and especially verbal English is essential
• Good communication and presentation skills

About the department
You will report to the Investment Manager and be part of a new team developing and driving Financial Management within investments. We are responsible for CSDS across all product portfolios, external contributors and on behalf of Novo Nordisk Product Supply, Quality & IT. This includes sourcing operations, strategic sourcing, manufacturing and development of devices and needles, management of all contract manufacturers and local manufacturing in strategic markets.
