The position

As a People Development partner, you act as a collaboration partner between the Global Centre of Excellence of Talent, Succession & Development and the specific customer area that you partner with in order to enable the business to enhance performance, culture and learning to navigate their challenges today and in the future.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with the Line of Business (LoB) and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and act as a trusted partner and advisor on talent and development needs.
  • To build a good understanding of overall business needs that will enable you to connect strategic priorities to talent, leadership and development solutions.
  • Ensuring local talent and development interventions are in line with and reinforcing a joined enterprise-wide direction within talent, leadership and development.
  • To co -create solutions that support local strategic priorities, advance capability, and develop a fit-for-future talent pipeline together with HRBPs and line managers.
  • Supporting leaders through team development and facilitation for targeted teams designed to improve team performance.
  • Liaise with and ensure that LoB are informed and aligned with global offerings

The role of People Development Partner is anchored in the Global Centre of Excellence and this particular role will act as partner to the Research and Early Development EVP area. The role is based in our Headquarters in Bagsværd.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, we expect you to:

  • Hold a Master’s degree within Business, HR, Psychology or similar and be fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Bring a minimum of 10 years of proven HR experience obtained from a specialised HR function such as talent development, leadership development, learning & development, performance management, talent acquisition, HR business partnering or any other relevant field.
  • Possess strong stakeholder, change management and communication skills.
  • Have a solid experience with team development and driving transformation processes to successful implementation as well as a knowledge of industry best practices and trends around learning science, talent strategy, effective measurement of leadership development.
  • Demonstrate strong expertise partnering with HR business partners and line leaders to design, develop and implement talent strategy solutions for an organisation.

As a person, you are self-driven, have strong interpersonal skills and a pragmatic approach ensuring that our strategic thoughts turn into implemented practises. You show engagement and authenticity, and you can engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels making sure you create trustful relationships that enables you to challenge stakeholders. You demonstrate agility and adapt quickly to change, whereby you hold yourself and others accountable. You can lead and coach people and manage to set the direction in a complex and changing environment.

About the department

You will be part of our Talent Succession & Development Centre of Excellence (CoE) residing in Global People & Organisation in Novo Nordisk. You will join the People Development Partners team which consists of 10 dedicated colleagues situated in different locations across the world. The People Development Partner team works to enhance performance and culture by preparing Line of Business to navigate their challenges today and in the future. We leverage expertise, engaging content, and innovative design to scale learning and support our employees at all stages of their careers. In addition to global learning solutions, we also provide organisational development and talent & succession consulting as well as customised solutions to build a culture of learning as a competitive advantage.
