About the department
In Product Supply, Injectable Finished Products (PS IFP), we produce a large portfolio of products fighting serious chronic diseases worldwide.
Department New Product Introduction (NPI) is a part of IFP Manufacturing Development and consists of 60 employees divided between 5 teams situated in Bagsværd, Denmark. Our main responsibility is to ensure a smooth transition of development products into large scale production and market approval.
The position is in team NPI Manufacturing Processes, a group of 15 highly skilled employees. We develop and implement new production processes for products in development. We are allocated to cross-functional project groups but are united to meet team goals.
The job
Your tasks will be related to execution of drug product productions for late-phase clinical trials, and process characterisation- and validation programs to prepare for large scale market production. You will do this in close collaboration with colleagues within the department and with various stakeholders. Through the job you will experience a large interface with both development departments as well as production sites. You will work both with Novo Nordisk’s own production sites, and with Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMO’s) meaning that there will be great opportunities for building a large network and for travelling, approx. 20 travel days a year to primarily EU and US.

Qualifications:
- Minimum B.Sc. degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, or other relevant academic are
- Experience within aseptic production/manufacturing within a GMP environment
- Experience/knowledge with formulation, filling systems and validation
- Familiar with regulatory documentation
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
