The position

As a leader of Novo Nordisk Receptions, your key responsibilities are to successfully deliver and develop high quality services that ensure both employees and guests to Novo Nordisk are greeted and helped in the Novo Nordisk Way, representing our culture and managing everything with high integrity.

Another important aspect of the position is to ensure that the area deliver security incident preparedness and ensure to deliver in accordance with the service levels agreed upon.

You will be part of a leadership team and manage a team of skilled administrative Security receptionists. Together with your team we expect that you have a strong focus on creating high engagement with a high level of psychological safety.

Moreover, you will seek proactively feedback and use it to continuously improve the services with innovative ideas, including developing the receptions as well as managing budgets and financial reporting.

The position requires a changing work schedule from Monday to Friday, 06.00-18.00.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you have:

  • Proven experience from a leadership position combined with 3-5 years of people management.
  • Experience with bookings, managing budgets, financial reporting and financial systems.
  • Experience with digitalisation and automation.
  • Strong communication skills i Danish and English, both written and spoken.

We expect, that you have great interpersonal skills complimented with interest in leadership and leading from a distance.. Moreover, you love setting direction, engaging others, prioritising according to strategic aspirations and/or stakeholder management. You are interested in a continuously developing both the services and the team, possess proven coaching and feedback skills.

About the department

The team consists of 21 Security receptionist and 1 Service coordinator all highly engaged team members, who passionately work to balance hospitality with security and ensuring guests get a feel for Novo Nordisk Essentials when they are greeted. As the leader of receptions, you will report directly to the Manager of Frontline Security become a member of the management team.

The department runs both manned and virtual receptions on 5 different sites. Additionally, we are responsible for the Novo Nordisk main number and act as frontline security safeguarding Novo Nordisk and its people in matters ranging from adverse events and potential recalls to reporting security observations.

On a daily basis, you work closely with specialists and colleagues from Corporate Facilities and vendors to ensure that the facilities are welcoming and in good shape. We are around 250 employees in Corporate Facilities based in Bagsværd, Hillerød, Måløv and Kalundborg. We drive strategic facility management in Denmark and are responsible for safeguarding, sustaining and continuously optimising Novo Nordisk property.
