We are looking for a Digital Finance Project Manager to join a newly created Sales Forecasting Centre of Excellence in Novo Nordisk International Operations Strategic Operations (IO-SO) with a position based in Copenhagen, Denmark. This newly created position is your entry into a dynamic environment, offering an outstanding opportunity to drive significant business impact and shape the future of performance forecasting in Novo Nordisk. You will gain broad insights into Novo Nordisk world-wide business and collaborate with affiliate and regional business finance and management teams across geographies.
You will be reporting to Director of IO Sales Forecasting and will join a diverse project team of passionate professionals, together shaping and driving International Operations (IO) wide implementation of the new digital sales forecasting solution. You will be anchored within the greater department of Digital Finance & Architecture based in Copenhagen, offering opportunities for further cross-functional collaboration, and heightened professional and individual development.
The Position
In this exciting role, you will join a dynamic IO Sales Forecasting Project Team, responsible for implementation, shaping, roll-out, and training of the new digital sales forecasting solution across IO affiliates.
As the Digital Finance Project Manager, you will:
• Be part of driving the standardisation, digitalisation, and continuous improvements of sales forecasting practices in affiliates.
• Drive implementation of the sales forecasting solution across IO affiliates with key focus on building, improving, and expanding on the existing forecasting practices.
• Set up project track governance, implementation framework, timeline, as well as scope training and communication plan - in close collaboration with project team and sponsors.
• Act as the first point of contact for regional and affiliate FP&A teams, ensuring strong collaboration on the implementation and training needs around the new forecasting solution.
• Develop and execute training programme and materials for IO affiliates and regional leads, delivering sufficient level of detail and upskilling of the wider IO finance community.
• Engage with stakeholders across all levels to cultivate a community around sales forecasting and best practices, both among end-users as well as senior management.
• Identify new ways to improve service delivery and training.
• Collaborate with project team to drive further sales forecast solution development for an affiliate end-user.
• Provide regular status updates, recommendations, and key insights from affiliates to relevant stakeholders across the organisation, including senior management.

Qualifications
You have decided to apply for this role because you are an experienced business finance professional or project manager with 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, market analytics, and/or project management.
You likely have a Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, IT, or a related field. Throughout your education and professional experience, you have gained in-depth hands-on experience in project or program management processes and practices, especially in a remote/online setting, as well as developed outstanding analytical and coordination skills. You possess a conceptional understanding of market and sales forecasting processes and ideally have had prior exposure to knowledge management and user training design. You have a high proficiency in Microsoft Suite and have a structured approach to your task.
Moreover, you have aptitude for information synthesis, data visualisation, and story-telling. You possess strong thought leadership and showcase ability to influence stakeholders and reach joint decisions. Solid understanding of the digital landscape and digital transformation concepts is considered an additional strength.
You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment, have a strong cultural understanding and exceptional communication skills, with high command of written and spoken English.
