The Position
As the new People Leader, you will be responsible for attracting, hiring, onboarding, developing, and retaining skilled infrastructure specialists. Working alongside fellow People Leaders in the Agile Release Train (ART), you will ensure the effective execution of our people and competency strategy. Your main responsibilities will be:
• supporting individuals in building long-term career plans
• mentoring employees in developing and applying their competencies
• evaluating your direct reports' performance, manage their rewards, and provide constructive feedback
• be accountable for managing the FTE-related budget, including salaries, travel, and training
• ensuring accurate forecasting of organizational growth opportunities With a team of 15+ employees, you will be in charge of ensuring high team engagement and enabling seamless collaboration and knowledge-sharing. You will set direction, communicate current and future priorities in alignment with Product Owners and Managers, and ensure your team has everything necessary to tackle complex challenges with enthusiasm and efficiency. As a People Leader, you will also manage external consultants, including contract administration, onboarding, and training. You will join our Global ART Leadership team and report directly to the Vice President. Qualifications
We are looking for some that has the ability to support transformational activities and lead changes through personal advocacy and engagement. To succeed in this role, you:
• Hold an academic background in a relevant field such as Business-IT, Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science
• Have a minimum 5 year leadership experience
• Have previous experience within IT operations
• Are proficient in English Possessing knowledge in Networks, IT Infrastructure (On premise and Cloud), and IT Architecture is beneficial but not a prerequisite. Ideally you also are a certified SAFe practitioner or practical experience with Agile methodologies so to effectively train, coach and mentor individuals in an Agile environment.
On a personal level, you are an exceptional communicator, and have the ability to identify and engage the appropriate stakeholders at every level. About the Department
The role is situated within the Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure (C&CI) team, an integral part of Global IT Operations (GITO). This department boasts over 400 employees dispersed across 25+ countries and is responsible for managing our Cloud and Infrastructure Services, Operations, IT Support, Major Incident Management, and Digital Workplace Services. Within C&CI, we have a team of 100+ individuals in 10+ product teams, consisting of both dedicated employees and 200+ skilled externals. With a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork, we operate in a truly global environment with colleagues from around the world. Our team is accountable for all Novo Nordisk Cloud (Private and Public) and Corporate Infrastructure (Network, Connectivity, and Hybrid Platforms) Services on a global scale.
