The position
As our new Advanced R&D Engineer, your key tasks will be to:
  • participate in device development projects as functional lead for test method development and validation
  • act as equipment responsible for computerised equipment
  • identify and drive improvement opportunities for our processes and equipment
  • scan new technologies for testing devices in future and ideas for the utilisation of test data
  • Qualifications
    We believe the ideal candidate for the position meets the following requirements:
  • You hold an academic degree within Engineering (e.g. mechanical, electrical, biomedical) or similar.
  • You have strong analytical skills, and you care for details in your work without losing your general view.
  • It is an advantage if you:
  • have knowledge of electrical and software engineering and data handling skills.
  • have acquired knowledge of test standards, equipment and/or method validations and how to navigate in a GMP-regulated environment.
  • have work experience within medical device development and/or with design control processes for medical devices.
  • As a person, you are proactive, have a ‘can do’ attitude and keep calm under pressure. You contribute to a positive work atmosphere and have a track record of successful collaboration towards realising shared objectives. You have a continuous improvement mindset and can easily navigate in the intersection between data, people and processes. About the department
    DDS consists of more than 350 colleagues who work dedicated to design and develop innovative medical devices and digital therapeutic solutions for our patients. In Experiments, CT and Design Verification, we are responsible for explorative testing, development of test methods and design verification testing of injection devices and new connected and innovative solutions for drug delivery. Our work is a key part of the device development process, we collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation, and we strive for excellence in everything we do.
