Would you like to bring your expertise to Novo Nordisk and ensure that we are compliant with primarily General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) but also data privacy requirements in a global context? We have a lot going on, our team is expanding and therefore we are looking for two new colleagues to join our department Global People Compliance. Our team is part of Novo Nordisk´s global HR organisation, we are responsible for ensuring employees´ and job candidate´s personal data always are safeguarded and maintained appropriately. The work we do requires you are curious to understand our global HR processes and based on that you are able to provide the right legal guidance. Your main job tasks will include: Working closely with the HR organisation in reviewing processes and HR IT-systems to implement the necessary data privacy requirements You will be doing data privacy risk assessments, Transfer Impact Assessments, negotiating data processing agreements and Standard Contractual Clauses as well as working with Novo Nordisk Binding Corporate Rules Handling HR data breaches in relation to reporting, assessing risk level, and implementing preventive actions Providing ad hoc GDPR guidance to other parts of the organisation Working on raising data privacy awareness in the HR organisation e.g., by conducting training sessions You will be interacting with other data privacy experts in Novo Nordisk globally including Novo Nordisk Data Protection Office. Qualifications To succeed in this role: You hold a master´s degree in law and have minimum 4-6 years of post-graduate legal experience working with GDPR in all aspects from a legal perspective. Probably you also have experience with other data privacy legislation and/or practices besides GDPR Strong track-record in vendor assessments, contract negotiations as well as drafting and reviewing data processing amendments in complicated vendor contracts You have experience in implementing best data privacy standards in operational processes and IT-systems – it will be preferred if you have experience working with global processes and collaborating with global stakeholders Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain complex legal points to employees and managers with varying degrees of experience with legal matters You take initiative and have a positive can-do attitude as well as a sense of humour You build strong relationships with the local business stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and influencer Professional proficiency in English verbally and in writing as our corporate language is English About the Department
