The position As Equipment Responsible you will join a team of skilled and motivated colleagues responsible for the technical support of a broad variety of production equipment and processes in our Cultivation Pilot Plants, focusing on optimisation and stable performance. You will use your technical knowledge and process understanding to help the production with deviation handling, change management, and validation/qualification of new equipment, all following the standards of the pharmaceutical industry (GMP). Additionally, you will interact with stakeholders from production, technical support (utility, environment, maintenance), and IT/Engineering, to ensure the best solutions by combining different fields of expertise in our local improvement projects. The position gives you a great opportunity to play a key role in optimisation, problem solving and ensuring that the solutions are in line with industry standards. Qualifications
You hold a degree, Masters or PhD, within Science, Engineering or Pharmacy. Preferably, you have: Experience in operation, maintenance and qualification/validation of equipment in a GMP-regulated environment An interest in automation and digitalisation Demonstrated skills at planning and structuring your work Excellent collaboration and communication skills Proactive and solution-oriented mindset As a person you are able to work independently, you set directions and you are able to handle a complex and sometimes hectic workday. You are flexible and have the courage and drive to engage in new assignments and stick to them until the job is finished. About the department The position is in the department Cultivation Pilot Plants and part of Chemistry Manufacturing and Control (CMC) API Pilots. CMC API Pilots is a part of the PSQIT organisation, that both manufactures and controls new drug substance candidates for clinical trials and for marketed products at Novo Nordisk. Cultivation Pilot Plants is a department that cultivates and purifies proteins and peptides, for use in clinical and non-clinical trials. The department consists of two separate production facilities with four production lines in total.
In the department we work with various technologies and equipment depending on whether the cultivation is based on yeast, E. coli or mammalian cells, and on how the recovery process is designed (i.e. centrifugation, filtration, chromatography etc.).
While we need to ensure efficient production capacity, we also have an eye on the future, making sure that we utilise the opportunities technology provides, i.e. automation and robot technology.
