The position
We are looking for an Intern who is motivated by and enjoys supply chain plan, data analysis, problem conceptualization, stakeholder collaboration, process optimization, and tools development to improve data visualization. Your responsibilities are included but are not limited to: Data Analysis and Visualizations: Assisting in gathering and analyzing data from various sources to identify and visualize trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement within the supply chain Process Optimization: Supporting the team in identifying process bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the supply chain, proposing innovative solutions to the stakeholders, and participating in process improvement initiatives and supply chain mapping Business Operation: Understanding business intelligence and being willing to learn and master tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Excel, etc. Practicalities: Internship period: 6 months Working hours: 18-37 hours per week (with flexibility during exam periods) Start date: January or February 2024 Location: Bagsværd Internships are remunerated if your educational track allows it A Danish full-time work permit is required Students must be enrolled at a university through the entire internship period. The working hours are flexible enabling you to combine an internship with lectures at university, project work, or writing your Bachelor/Master’s thesis.
Qualifications You are a student who enrolled in a BSc. or MSc. program in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field at a Danish university. Ideally, you have at least 1 year remaining until graduation; therefore, you have more time to gain further knowledge and experience while completing your degree. To succeed in this role, you have: Enthusiasm for learning about supply chain management concepts and practices Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A detail-oriented and well-organized approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously An analytical mindset with the ability to extract insights from complex data sets Proficient in data and IT systems Preference (nice to have): Prior experience with supply chain planning or analytics Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, VBA, Power Apps, or similar software (significant advantage) If you don’t have experience in one (or more) of the above, we provide you the opportunity to learn and develop together. As an Intern in this job, you will have the unique chance to expand your skills and apply the knowledge you gained during your academic studies to practical situations. Supply Chain (SC) is a department within Product Supply that supports all Novo Nordisk global production sites in supplying the best Supply Chain Processes, systems, and data to support them in the smooth execution of their daily operations. We have responsibility for identifying and executing strategic supply chain projects in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be a part of a diverse Sales & Operations Execution team with 14 highly engaged colleagues with different, gender, age, and nationality.
