The Position
As a Global Circular Economy Expert, you will have a key role in shaping our efforts on integrating circular economy into our strategies, targets, and operations. Our environmental strategy, Circular for Zero, is based on circular economy principles and as a Global Circular Economy Expert you will contribute to minimising the environmental impacts from our products.
To support our circular economy journey, your main tasks will include: Driving implementing of Novo Nordisk environmental policy concerning circular economy and resource uses Ensuring compliance with reporting requirements on circular economy and resource uses aspects e.g. by the EU CSRD Collecting data and driving the implementation necessary for reporting Driving circular economy improvements internally across the organization Assisting with development of strategy and target setting in the area of circular economy Using data and Life Cycle Assessment and other data tools to assess the product environmental footprints and resource use
Furthermore, it is expected from you to support and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on circular economy related topics. Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will have following qualifications: Master’s degree in environmental engineering, sustainability, or another relevant field You have 4+ years of experience in the circular economy, environmental engineering or sustainability fields Strong data analytics and stakeholder management skills Good knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment or methodology for product environmental footprint Project management experience Proficiency in English, both orally and written

Corporate Environmental Strategy is a diverse team responsible for ‘Circular for Zero’, where we strive for zero environmental impact. Our responsibility includes a variety of environmental initiatives across the organisation and with external stakeholders. We develop and deploy environmental strategies, run cross- organisational projects, drive environmental intelligence and ensure internal and external communication leading to a reduced Novo Nordisk environmental footprint. The department consist of 20 dedicated project managers and specialists, all highly engaged in driving the environmental strategy of Novo Nordisk.
