Are you a laboratory technician with hands-on experience in performing analytical testing? Are you interested in working on the transfer of analytical methods and providing training to laboratory personnel across sites for Novo Nordisk's future Diabetes and Obesity products? If so, you might be one of our new laboratory technicians in the Analytical Competence Centre. About the department The Analytical Competence Centre is a department within Aseptic Manufacturing Science and Technology (AMSAT) and consists of around 65 employees divided into six teams. We play a central role in Novo Nordisk's QC laboratories for both new and marketed products. The job description We are currently looking for two laboratory technicians in permanent positions. Here, together with your experienced colleagues you will have a very central role in the newly established team of Analytical Method Transfer. Your tasks will include the following:
  • Providing training in analytical methods to laboratory personnel from QC laboratories at Novo Nordisk and CMOs (Contract Manufacturing Organizations)
  • Performing analytical testing including data analysis, in GMP and GxP regulated environment
  • Interacting with stakeholders from various cultural backgrounds
  • Sparring with chemists regarding new analytical methods transfer
  • Assuring that laboratory operates in compliance with GMP standards
    • In addition to this, you will have tasks tailored to your skills and individual development needs. This includes practical analysis work and daily based support to the Analytical Support team. The central analysis methods are HPLC/UPLC, but we also work with pH, mass spectrometry, and various Container Closure Integrity methods. You will be part of a team consisting of about 7 skilled, experienced, and dedicated laboratory technicians and chemists. We have an informal culture, where humor is a natural part of everyday life. Qualifications We imagine that you have the following qualifications:
  • Education as a laboratory technician or equivalent
  • In-depth experience with HPLC/UPLC analyses
  • Knowledge of GMP and preferably GlobalLIMS and Empower will be an advantage
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders with diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Ability to work in fast-changing priority environment
  • Very desirable experience with controlling and approving analysis results and/or training of laboratory personnel in method execution

You are able to critically assess issues and find the right balance between progress and quality in task execution. You work in a structured and independent manner and are focused on achieving results.
