The Position Your main responsibility as our new OT Solution Architect will be to drive and be the specialist anchor for end-to-end digitalization across manufacturing facilities producing for clinical trials. Through strong collaboration, communication, and practical tech skills, you will understand and translate the needs of our manufacturing peers and the consumers of their data, and be a strong voice in designing tech solutions, enabling the connected data aspiration. Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Stakeholder Orchestration and Co-creation - work closely with the manufacturing units in CMC Development, their data consumers, as well as our digital product teams, understand business needs, and serve as a bridge between the manufacturing and the digital space.

  • Solution Architecture & Design - translate manufacturing needs into implementable, fit-for-purpose solutions that are scalable and maintainable in the digital solution landscape. Furthermore, you will align solutions, simplify, and optimize for synergies across the landscape.

  • Manage Decision-Making Processes - foster effective decision-making from the initial phase to implemented solutions by collaborating and aligning with technical product teams and business stakeholders. You will act as a product owner, having a steering, coordinating, and facilitating role, and utilize the skillset of a cross-functional product team to move from visioning to designed processes and solutions.

  • Inspire and advise on new technologies - advise on the use of existing technologies, and identify, understand, and qualify new emerging technologies and the opportunities they bring through active market intelligence.

    • You will be an important sparring partner to the management teams in CMC and will be the tech counterpart. In addition, you will become a member of "The Network," which is the Novo Nordisk digital network – working, sparring, and sharing ideas with colleagues from early research to marketed production. Qualifications Experience with the two domains of manufacturing and IT architecture is an absolute must. Please apply regardless of academic professional background.   • Customer focused mindset with hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment and data integration.

  • Solid experience working within Manufacturing Automation.

  • Experience on developing, configuring, or integrating with IT solutions and/or data engineering pipelines.

  • Solution architecture experience and experience with developing or interfacing with OT/IOT data/network architecture.

  • Understanding of international standards and best practices involved in connecting OT/IOT technology.

  • Hands-on experience with the software platforms like Ignition, Pas-X, SAP ECC and Aveva PI are a plus.

    • In addition, you have strong problem-solving and conceptual thinking capabilities and are well experienced in stakeholder management and partnership building. You present, explain, and sell digital solutions and new concepts in a down-to-earth manner to those who are not experts in the field and are proficient in both spoken and written English. About The Department As part of Novo Nordisk PSQIT organisation, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Development & Scaling makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture and distribute drug candidates for clinical trials and have a strong culture with a “can do” mind-set. CMC ties research and manufacturing together and scales up the production of the products. The scientist teams are vital in producing and delivering medicine to patients. We are advancing fundamental elements around data and information to meet future needs and using new technologies without compromising on the quality of our products. Active-Metadata Information modelling is a key concept in our approach to future data access. The job is anchored in the CMC Data Foundation and PMO. Our department consists of highly engaged colleagues with different scientific backgrounds and expertise in digital/automation project management, architecture, information modelling, and process expertise. We use a wide range of technologies based on the needs we want to solve, and we develop solutions for both non-GMP and GMP regulated processes.
