The position
PAT based on vibrational spectroscopy can offer unique insights into the aseptic manufacturing process. We seek to expand our capabilities in this area to ensure that Novo Nordisk can continue to utilize technological advancements to improve our production capabilities, for the good of our patients.
In this position you will use your knowledge of vibrational spectroscopy to develop fit-for-purpose analytical solutions, primarily based on FTIR, for our production areas. Primary responsibilities include: Understanding and optimizing experimental setups in the laboratory. Planning and carrying out experimental work in collaboration with laboratory technicians. Close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. Ensure that projects remain relevant and maintain progress.
You can expect some annual travel days, as we are constantly looking to collaborate and share knowledge both inside and outside of Novo Nordisk.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have: A relevant scientific background, and strong understanding of vibrational spectroscopy. Experience in driving analytical development projects. Track-record for timely execution of projects. Professional proficiency in English. Understanding of GMP production or automation interfaces is considered an advantage.

About the department
You will be joining Analytical Technology, a department under Technology and Innovation, within the Aseptic Manufacturing Science and Technology (AMSAT) area in Novo Nordisk. The department is located in Denmark, splitting time between Bagsværd and Gentofte.
The department was created 2 years ago with the purpose of expanding and optimizing Novo Nordisk production capabilities through real-time monitoring and release testing. AT is responsible for designing and developing holistic analytical solutions from the ground up. The department mainly consists of scientists with a diverse cultural and strong scientific foundation. We are an ambitious department who work closely together and seek to elevate each other and those around us, so we can deliver the best solutions for the production of the future.
