Let’s talk about the role We are looking for a Security Architect specializing in Application Security Operations (AppSecOps) to join Novo Nordisk’s Global Information Security (GIS) Department. As Security Architect, you will be working with implementing application security solutions that support the needs of our line-of-business. You will work closely with our software development and security teams to strengthen the security and compliance posture of our in-house developed software.
Your primary responsibilities will include: Assisting in the operations of Application Security, with a focus on configuration, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Application Security tooling Facilitating secure software development by supporting business units on the implementation of Application Security tooling Supporting the development of the application security service strategy by sharing the insights and knowledge gathered through the interactions with business units Develop reports of different application security metrics to inform continuous improvement efforts Ensure AppSec monitoring capability is continuously updated Cooperate with our SIEM team to make sure relevant findings are handled appropriately Assist software development teams triaging the findings of the Application Security tooling as needed Which competencies to bring? To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate would tick most of the following: Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline 3+ years of working as part of an engineering team to implement software Implementation and operations experience with Application Security testing tools and technologies, including static analysis, software composition analysis, dynamic analysis, and IaC scanning tools Experience with Azure and AWS cloud services and best practices to secure them Experience with containerization technology, CI/CD pipelines, and serverless applications Experience with scripting languages for API access and tasks automation We have a strong focus on collaboration, we are curious, and we are embracing new ideas on how to deliver projects and support line of business successfully.
