BI Developer with motivation for optimizing data and production
Do you want to have influence on Novo Nordisk’s production? Do you have flair for maintenance of existing data collection and are you motivated to continue to improve our quality in production? Then you might be the right candidate for this position in our team!
About the department
The department is located in Gentofte. The department holds 50 employees, and you will be part of a strong team with 12 committed colleagues and an experienced and supporting leader. Our Business Support unit supports the producing areas with portfolio and project management, planning and scheduling, procurement and of course Business Intelligence.
Our focus is to support the producing units with data transparency and overview.
The position
Together with our BI colleagues, you should build sustainable dashboards and other data visualizations. We expect you to setting business requirements for BI tools and translating business requirements into technical ones. In the role you should be able to take initiative and lead BI software development, deployment and maintenance.
Qualifications

In addition, you have a service-oriented mindset and the ability to execute independently of your colleagues whenever needed. It is an advantage if you have hands-on experience with working in a regulated industry however this is not a requirement. Furthermore, you appreciate a good working environment where you with dedication, good personality and initiative contribute to solutions to various types of challenges. As such, you contribute to a healthy working climate, and you thrive to contribute to the continuously improvement of processes. Finally, you are motivated by the complexity in your tasks and sees solutions rather than problems.

Qualifications

- A degree in a relevant field (an ETL developer, a database/warehouse developer, data engineer, data scientist)
- You have hands-on experience with extraction and wrangling of data
- Furthermore, you have experience working with Tableau, Alteryx or Power BI
- You understand internal data and analysing those to ascertain where value can be gained
- It is a prerequisite that you’re fluent in spoken and written English
