A meaningful workday with impact on thousands and thousands of lives? Interesting scientific challenges in a complex production environment? Fun and talented colleagues that appreciate your ambitions and curiosity? Check. Look no further. This is your new job.
About the department
Our team supports an open aseptic filling line in Biotech and Rare Disease filling products within Hemophilia – most days, the work is about understanding and dealing with obstacles in our production. We collaborate closely with the many operators at the line, minimizing errors and deviations, and helping to make the right decisions in a very complex production process.
While we need to maintain a stable and efficient production capacity because of the many people around the world that count on us, we also need to have an eye on the future, making sure that we utilize all the opportunities technology provides and can adhere to all the demands we will meet.
We have lots of energy and plenty of room for diversity. We also believe that the hard decisions are best made when people with different skills and abilities work together. It is therefore fundamental that you can build trustful relations and communicate clearly with everyone – bridging any professional or cultural distances. In a busy workday with many important decisions, it is important that we can all feel safe and trust each other to help before the challenges exceed individual capacity. We expect you to contribute to our great work environment by offering your ideas and analysis, correcting us when we are wrong, and being there for your colleagues when they need you.
The job
To reach our patients around the world – people living with haemophilia or other chronic diseases – it is important to deliver our products at the highest quality possible at the lowest price possible. To do this, we chase simplicity in our complex processes – you should find energy in creating and maintaining production stability in an environment where we dare to do things differently while learning from mistakes – without compromising safety or quality. You will be part of the support effort here where you can be part of making a difference for our colleagues and ultimately for our patients. We promise you exciting challenges with lots of opportunities for personal and professional development.
Your skills will be trained when you take part in systematic problem solving, develop optimizations or have that important informal chat with the operators that made all the difference – personal or technical. And you will find professional opportunities here that are hard to come by elsewhere. When you are ready, you will have your own areas of responsibility, and what they will be, will as much as possible be determined by your interests and curiosity. Until then, your immediate level of experience how much support you will get from your colleagues but rest assured that you will be trained properly and that you will never be left alone with the hard decisions.
Qualifications
We need you to have an analytical background as found in the natural or engineering sciences – and experience from a complex production setup like ours is critical for your rapid success. However, if you are motivated by a steep learning curve, we also have opportunities for a recently graduated MSc. with the right approach and attitude. You need to be very aware about how you structure your work, ensuring a good balance between immediate needs in the production and the long-term goals you will play an important part in fulfilling. As a person, you find motivation in taking on great personal responsibility for your tasks, for the processes as a whole and for the overall mission in general. As most of our daily interactions and internal reports are in Danish, mastering a Scandinavian language will be an advantage.
