The Position As Senior Lean Partner within BRD QC, you will be key in actively promoting and leading a culture of continuous improvement and LEAN leadership and driving the development and implementation of the LEAN strategy and improvement projects in the area.

This will involve working closely with colleagues and management across six BRD QC departments, as well as LEAN Partners in other areas of BRD and Product Supply (PS) at all levels.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
  • Drive and support the implementation of the LEAN strategy including performance management and policy deployment processes and ensure alignment with BRD/PS strategic goals and ambitions.
  • Facilitate/support the implementation of lean principles, systems, and tools into the daily routines in the areas and share best practices across the QC area, BRD and PS, through the LEAN Network, cLEAN (current LEAN, known internally) Academy and other channels.
  • Identify focus areas for process improvements that are linked to the BRD short- and long-term ambitions and targets, and support execution.
  • Foster an environment that encourages innovation, scientific thinking and continuous learning and improvement.
  • Maintain an effective and efficient LEAN network with the purpose of continuously improving the business and supporting the implementation of the LEAN strategy.
  • Qualifications
  • Academic degree in relevant subject matters (engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, business management, or project management) with 5+ years of relevant experience driving process improvements, implementing complex projects, and/or designing and executing LEAN transformations.
  • LEAN experience or relevant experience as a leader, preferably from the pharmaceutical industry.
  • You can navigate between strategic and operational levels, adapting to your target group.
  • You excel at accurately defining problem statements, applying structured methodologies to identify data-driven root causes, and driving innovative solutions, risk mitigation, and execution. You're equally effective working independently or in collaborative teams.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • As a person, you are curious and open-minded to new ideas, people, and challenges. You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to network. You are a passionate go-getter with strong interpersonal and change management skills, able to build trust and relationships with senior leaders and employees. About the department Your role will be anchored in BRD QC Innovation and Business Support Department. We are approximately 40 colleagues supporting six departments across BRD QC in business support processes such as Training, Admin, Forecast, Planning, GMP, Data management and Global LIMS, as well as management of various Innovation and Technology projects.

    Our department is part of the BRD Manufacturing Development & Quality Control area that has its base in Denmark. What other companies call Manufacturing Science & Analytical Technology (MSAT) we call Manufacturing Development. We are approximately 650 colleagues who are the end-to-end station for product and process development for all BRD production facilities, driving innovation both when it comes to industry 4.0 technology and expansion of the product portfolio. Our area also includes the Quality Control unit for all BRD’s products.
