Would you like to take the lead ensuring that IT governance is defined and documented and that this is subsequently conducted across DSV Global IT?
Join us as Director for IT Governance and lead the direction for an ambitious team while you leave your mark on an area of big strategic importance for our entire organisation.
Welcome to IT Process Excellence & IT Governance
You and your team of 8 colleagues will be located in our IT Process Excellence & IT Governance department, a function placed centrally in the CIO Office.
Your team consists of colleagues with many years of experience within IT governance, disaster recovery and change control. They know each other’s strengths and competences well and you will set the direction for a more ambitious future and lead their professional development.
Take charge of our documentation and disaster recovery
One of your most important tasks is to make sure that we use the right platforms, standards and processes to establish and maintain our technical documentation. As you introduce changes along the way, you ensure that these are made in a controlled and coordinated manner.
Another of your main areas of responsibility is to develop the disaster recovery framework enabling transparent cross-functional collaboration allowing us to respond rapidly and professionally in case of an incident.
Apart from your own team, your most important stakeholders will be IT Compliance, Global IT Executives and Global IT leaders as you continuously update them on the latest plans and procedures regarding IT Governance.
You are great at managing both stakeholders and technical complexity
Our focus on documentation and disaster recovery means that we are on a transition with many stakeholders and complex systems involved. So, it is important that you are able to handle a great amount of complexity and enjoy the challenge of developing and implementing new concepts.
With your solid senior management experience, you are able to design a strong service organisation earning their mandate by the quality they deliver.
Your skills as a communicator are as strong as your analytical mindset, since clear and relevant communication is key. As colleagues from different parts of the organisation will rely on your expertise, it is important that you are able to prioritise your efforts.

Professionally, we imagine that you:
- Have a master’s degree within business administration, engineering, computer science or similar
- Have solid experience in the management of IT policies and procedures, IT Governance or similar
- Bring experience from a large-scale international IT organisation
- Experience implementing cross functional governance processes in complex IT organisations
- Experience implementing technical documentation platforms including a technical mindset
- Have strong conceptual experience working with disaster recovery and documentation governance
- A general and broad insight to more operational areas in IT, specifically within IT Governance
- Speak and write English fluently – Danish is not a prerequisite
