Then the Job as Project Lead for Secondary Packaging Development may be the perfect fit for you.
The position
As Project Lead in Secondary Packaging, Devices and Delivery Solutions, you will be responsible for bringing the Secondary Packaging through all the development phases from early concepting to implementation in production. This requires your coordination of input from i.e., Labelling, Graphics, User Communication, Test laboratory, Manufacturing Development and external vendors. to build the Secondary Packaging solution. You will therefore play a key role in supporting Novo Nordisk’s patients with innovative products that improve the patient’s daily life.
You will join our Secondary Packaging Team and become a valuable player ensuring timely planning of project activities, based on input from a wide range of both internal and external stakeholders.
The perfect candidate comes with Project Management skills, and CAD construction skills, alternatively it is expected that you will engage internally in the team to acquire skills within specification development (CAD) and that training will be provided. As such you will manage the overall Secondary Packaging Project and be able to also execute on constructing the Neutral Pack specifications.
Core competencies include:
• Coordinate and facilitate workshops with a wide range of stakeholders to create project plans that aligns with the overall product development timelines
• Follow up with stakeholders and report into our project governance organisation
• Drive secondary packaging design and development activities incl. execution on own responsibilities.
• Manage project documentation and information. Give input to budget responsible stakeholders on project needs.
• Drive trade off decisions with input from relevant stakeholders.
• Have skills or willingness to acquire skills to be proficient in developing specifications of secondary neutral packaging
You will in an iterative way, ensure alignment with stakeholders in relation to secondary packaging design and development activities. Your key stakeholders are Labelling and Graphics, User Communication, Systems Engineer, Device Project Manager and Manufacturing Development. As a Secondary Packaging Project Lead you will be responsible for the timely development of our Secondary Packaging modules. You will plan and coordinate the development activities, from early internal concepting to product design transfer to our colleagues in product maintenance. You will work in a cross organisational project team and engage with external stakeholders (machine builders and external suppliers) to ensure alignment and manufacturability of our secondary packaging projects.
Your experience from project activities enables you to continuously help and support in improving our internal work processes.
The position offers possibilities for development of your project management skills during your daily tasks and activities in the project(s). Working in a cross organisational project group ensures network and knowledge across the organisation which will enable you to further develop your competences.

Qualifications
• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree within engineering or similar
• You have at least 2 years of experience working with project(s), preferably in a project coordination role or similar. We are looking for both more senior and intermediate levels of experience
• You have good interpersonal skills, a collaborative attitude, and excellent communication skills
• You have a high degree of flexibility as the tasks are varied and oftentimes compromising to accommodate different trade-offs is required in the development process
• You have an analytical and systematic mindset and are good at keeping an overview of project tasks
• Experience with Design Control (21 CFR 820.30, ISO 13485) or from other highly regulated industry, e.g., food, medico or pharmaceuticals, automotive or aerospace is an advantage
• Experience within CAD software and familiarity within technical drawings and construction is an advantage
• Your language proficiency in both written and spoken English is at a professional level.
About the department
The Secondary Packaging Team develops the specifications of non-printed packaging material and is responsible for the overall planning of related activities and input needed to deliver fully developed packaging material in alignment with Novo Nordisk timelines. We ensure manufacturability of the design in collaboration with suppliers and production, and we strive for developing robust and sustainable solutions. We support numerous projects with different expertise, as such, tasks lying outside the above description can also be expected.
