Senior QA Project Manager
within Planning and SAP ECC

About the department
Supply Chain QA comprises 10 highly qualified specialists and professionals who are responsible for overseeing the supply chain within Product supply in Novo Nordisk. The majority of the tasks are divided into three areas. One being supporting distribution of GxP materials and finished goods within Product Supply, incl. quality oversight of external suppliers. The second one being handling quality activities related to our SAP systems, incl. process optimization and improving data integrity. And the last being supporting the drug shortage process, incl. coordination and communication with health authorities.
The job
With the role as Senior QA Project Manager in Supply Chain QA, you will work within four overall areas:
Supply Chain is a central part of a majority of the processes in Novo Nordisk, system owner of SAP ECC, and responsible for a high number of cross functional projects. As Senior QA Project Manager, you will be a valuable member of many different projects, helping define processes and support with general knowledge related to Quality, QMS, and SAP.
As Process QA Delegate (PQAD) you will attend focus group working on assessing and implementing compliance signals from regulatory authorities affecting the production and purchase planning process globally.
You will be heading up a professional network of SAP Super users, that ensure a global governance of the quality related tasks in SAP ECC. In the role as Global ARSU Chair, you will be responsible for ensuring and operating global governance of the QA area across all SVP areas in Product Supply. You will facilitate the implementation of IT as well as process changes to the SAP solution, drive prioritization of system changes from a quality and compliance perspective and participate in the execution of our Agile release Train. In addition to this, you will have the ownership of global SOPs and be responsible for deviation handling of SAP issues covering multiple production sites.
As QA in Supply Chain, you are responsible for ensuring compliance, product quality, and patient safety in our daily operations, and have to offer QA support and GMP guidance internally to Supply Chain. Your tasks will be to review and approve quality related documents such as SOP’s, deviations, and change control cases, and you will also participate in relevant audits and inspections internally and externally.
This position also requires a strong quality mindset and solid process and business understanding.

As QA in Supply Chain, you are responsible for ensuring compliance, product quality, and patient safety in our daily operations, and have to offer QA support and GMP guidance internally to Supply Chain. This position also requires a strong quality mindset and solid process and business understanding.
Qualifications
- You hold an academic degree in e.g. chemistry, biology, engineering, pharmacy, or similar and have at least 5 years of relevant experience within quality assurance and/or Supply Chain.
- Preferable, you have worked within the quality processes within SAP and IT related projects. You master English oral and written on a professional level. Experience as production QA is also an advantage.
- You are service minded, independent and have an eye for simplicity and take responsibility for your tasks. You are recognized for your expertise and for your great interpersonal skills.
- You solve complex tasks by constructive communication, based on your professional knowledge and understanding of quality without compromising patient safety.
- On a personal level you are ambitious and have a great interest in developing yourself and people in your network. As our team is small, you need to be able to serve a large customer base and possess good team player qualities, a good sense of humour and having an understanding of cultural differences are of paramount importance.
