Energetic and ambitious Associate Manager; IM2 Recovery Do you want to set setting direction for our manufacturing processes in IM2 recovery? Currently we operate one facility, and two new facilities will become operational within 1½ years. We need a passionate people manager to lead our growing process support team. If you really are up for a challenge – here it is. The position As head of IM2 Recovery process support, your job will be to build, foster and develop the team to meet the future needs for competences in continuous operations in multiple facilities. The team initially consist of 18 scientist and technicians reporting directly to you. The people that you will lead are highly skilled with different scientific backgrounds and several years of experience within their field of knowledge. You will be reporting to the Director of IM2 Recovery and will be part of IM2 Recovery management team. Your key goal will be to lead and develop a highly motivated and high performing support team to make sure that we are ready, competent, and flexible enough to operate multiple facilities. Some of the main tasks will be to: Build and foster a strong team culture, with a strong production mindset Develop and maintain an engaging, fun, and inspirational working environment Continuously develop the skills and competencies in the team Ensure transparent communication, planning and prioritisation across all relevant areas Together with all relevant parties set direction for process support in the new recovery facilities while ensuring a collaborative relationship You will act as a role model and will ensure energetic people management, that will motivate the people around you to be the best they can be, because they feel safe, supported, and challenged by you daily. Qualifications We are looking for a positive and solution-oriented candidate. People oriented and passionate leadership skills is a pre-requisite. You have a high level of energy to drive your organisation and engage your colleagues and employees. To succeed in this role, you: Have a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, or other relevant degree At least 5 years of experience from the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Have several years of people management experience (3+ years) Have strong communication and stakeholder manager skills Change management experience and experience with top level interaction Are fluent in English written as well as verbally On a personal level, you set direction in an emphatic way, are well founded with people management skills and thrives with finding structure in a daily life with many different tasks.
In addition, you like to change processes to the better and are not afraid to take a risk, so you are able to work up to highest standards in the most simple and effective way. You are therefore familiar with the concept of LEAN management and believe in its advantages. At the same time, we encourage cooperation between stakeholders, departments, team and people based on mutual trust and empathy. About the department IM2 Recovery is part of the production area; IM2 in Novo Nordisk Product Supply organisation.
