Join our team as the Associate Manager of the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Distributed Control System (DCS) Center of Excellence (CoE). The Position As Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Distributed Control System (DCS) Center of Excellence (CoE) you will lead a team responsible for API’s new DCS system. As this is a new team you will play a key role in creating support and delivery models, as well as building the team with the right roles and competencies. Your main tasks will be to:
  • Lead the team by developing competencies, coaching, and training the employees
  • Be the System Owner for the new DCS System in API (ABB 800xA).
  • Responsible for supporting and operating the DCS System for 24/7 production site operation
  • Drive collaboration with customers, colleagues from other IT/OT areas and DCS vendor responsible.
  • You will also Ensure standardized DCS setup in API and secure quality and compliance of product and processes as well as drive your leadership with a cLEAN mindset. Moreover, you will also have the responsibility of coordinating and prioritizing resources and tasks in the team to achieve our ambition of a professional IT support set-up as well as ensure a standardized IT solutions to multiple projects. In addition, you will be part of a management team who works closely together to ensure we succeed as a department. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you:
  • Hold bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or similar
  • Leadership & stakeholder management experience
  • Have experience with IT/OT Support processes
  • Ideally have experience from GMP regulated production and knowledge about DCS systems
  • Are fully proficient in English.

About the Department You will be part of a team in the IT department which is a part of IT and Future Operation and part of API Business Support there is responsible for Finance, Technical Process Support, Facility projects and IT & Future operation. API-IT has the responsibility for driving cross site IT projects, IT security, program management and responsible for cross site IT applications.
