About the department
In Novo Nordisk we drive our business to the benefit of patients. To bring innovative treatments to as many patients worldwide as possible, we consider expanding our API manufacturing capacities to support the company portfolio of future oral and injectable pharmaceuticals. We investigate how to establish new, ground-breaking biotech facilities based on modern technology with fully automated operations and digitalised processes.
We are now hiring skilled workers and support functions within the following disciplines: Fermentation, Recovery, Purification, Freeze- and Spray-drying, Facility design and construction, Utility design and construction, Automation/IT design and construction as well as experienced profiles within industry 4.0 technologies and Health & Safety. We expect to post jobs continuously. The activities will be carried out at our site in Kalundborg, home of Novo Nordisk API manufacturing. The position
You will participate in project activities for investigating design, constructability, schedule and cost for a new production facility mainly focusing on Purification and Freeze Drying. The key design principle will be to implement the best-in-class Calibration standards from other production facilities. You will be a part of a maintenance team consisting of Blacksmiths, calibration technicians, electricians, and support functions. The main task for this team is to ensure true predictive maintenance by focusing on the maximum availability of production time. This includes spare part listing and strategy and focusing on conducting QRMs to achieve the right calibration level for instruments. Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should: Have solid knowledge of how NN process systems are build and solid experience in calibrating and maintaining instruments. Your educational background is Electrician, Industrial electrician, or Automation Technician / Mechanic Documentation such as Calibration plans, Maintenance plans, spare part listing BOMs etc. are tasks that you do with obviousness as this is a big part of project work. You are an excellent ambassador for ease of calibration on the various workshops through the project phases. Have a certain knowledge about technology trends within calibration of instruments.
Knowledge in ABB800xa is an advantage.
A strong command of the English language, both verbally and in written is required for this role. On a personal level, you enjoy close teamwork, like being part of technical discussions and are willing to work with the end goal in mind.
