Are you interested in being part of a rapidly developing Manufacturing Development packaging department? Would you like to be part of securing next generation tablets, and the best primary packaging processes? Are you eager to develop processes to be scalable and ready for market production? Then come and join!
The department is a part of Emerging Technologies Oral Product Development (ET OPDev). We are currently looking for several candidates!
The Position
Your primary focus will be to prepare productions on our blister or bottle filling line, and to support production during execution. Productions may involve our established phase III processes but also entirely new processes for new projects. We are involved early in new projects to help develop a stable GMP packaging process. We are facing the integration of packaging processes for phase I and II in our department, preparing us to expand responsibilities for clinic packaging and development in OPDev by the entrance of 2024. Initially, your focus will be on ensuring a smooth transition and stable integration. You will contribute to implementing the developed process under GMP, as well as planning, and executing the campaign. Planning involves close collaboration with the equipment responsible to ensure the process can run on our machinery.
Additionally, tasks include:
• creating production instructions and SOPs
• Planning and executing the process under GMP. • Handling common deviation and change cases.
• Coordinating major deviations. You must be able to handle many changes and information daily and work in an environment with many stakeholders and partners in different departments. You should also have the desire to understand how complex packaging equipment operates.
We have a strong focus on optimizations, and your task will be to optimize and improve the current production setup. This means you will be involved in developing and driving improvement proposals and solving challenges that may arise along the way.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in pharmacy, chemistry, biology, or similar.
• Solid GMP mindset and willingness to work according to LEAN principles.
• Full proficiency in Danish and English. • Experience in primary packaging or general production experience, preferably for clinical studies, would be an advantage but is not a necessity. • Experience with PAS-X is considered a strong advantage. As our packaging process is highly centred around equipment, having a technical aptitude for equipment is advantageous. Our daily operations are supported by various IT solutions, and a certain flair for IT is also involved in providing daily support at the line.
You have a structured approach to tasks and ability to create an overview easily. Moreover, you prefer to work in a dynamic and changeable environment and can make quick decisions without compromising quality or agreed-upon deliveries. With your excellent communication skills, you can collaborate with various employee groups such as technicians, chemists, operators, and managers, as well as professionals across the organization.
About the department
We are involved in primary packaging of tablets for clinical phase I-III studies and preparing packaging processes for numerous exciting new products emerging and prepping for final submission. Getting ready for new products is a significant part of our responsibility, and it will increasingly become a focus in our daily activities. The department comprises an operator/technician team, a support team, and an equipment team. We operate on a blister line and a bottle filling line. In the coming years, we will implement at least two new packaging lines, a blister, and a bottle filling line. Simultaneously, we will be moving to a new building, meaning we are currently working on a project-oriented basis. It's a significant and exciting task, making each day anything but boring.
