HR Business Partner for R&ED, Novo Nordisk Do you want to be part of a large, inspirational, global HR Business Partnering community - a community focused on enabling the Line of Business in executing their business strategies? The position
You will be the HR Business Partner to leaders at CVP and VP level in Global Discovery and Development Sciences (GDDS) within the business area Global Drug Discovery (GDD) in Research and Early Development (R&ED).
As HR Business Partner your focus is to translate your area’s strategic priorities into relevant and impactful P&O actions, which include enabling the leaders to drive:
  • Organisational development and effectiveness
  • Change management
  • Diversity, equity and Inclusion
  • Talent management & development
  • Culture and engagement
  • Strategic workforce management

  • You will mainly work with senior managers and organisational development in your area. But managers at all levels of leadership will approach you requiring you to balance between day-to-day challenges and proposing solutions at a highly strategic and tactical level depending on what will be needed to progress. As a trusted advisor, you build solid relationships with the business and the P&O organisation, identify challenges and play an advisory role in addressing them. Alongside your HR Business Partner colleagues and working closely with Centres of excellence, you will be in charge of continuously reviewing, assessing and evolving the business and the ability to seize business opportunities and overcome challenges. You will build trustful relations with the leaders and enable them in shaping and fostering an engaging, diverse and inclusive employee environment, rooted in our values - the Novo Nordisk Way. Along with preparing for and facilitation of the annual people processes, you will support leaders and their management team with guidance on tasks related to running business.

    Qualifications
    You are a strong and pragmatic executor and a person people want to work with and who is respected by stakeholders because you drive things forward and because you have a high personal integrity, which allows you to offer your perspectives respectfully.

    Ideally, you:
  • Have 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner within a large, international and culturally diverse environment with change management and organisational development.
  • Have excellent analytical skills, flair for data, strong communication competence, the ability to facilitate and present and solid stakeholder management experience.
  • Have an eye for seeing opportunities for improvements and changes to add business value.
  • Are able to think strategically and to translate business into HR actions, based on a thorough understanding of the challenges and future outlook.
  • Know how to remove people and organization related roadblocks, ensuring strong support to strategy implementation
  • Hold a relevant academic degree within HR, Organization, Business Psychology or similar. You could come from a leadership position or management consultancy with experience in organizational psychology and development.
  • Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

  • Experience from working within pharma or R&D will be an advantage.
    It is natural for you to bridge opinions, among other things, by demonstrating good cultural understanding and stakeholder management. You find solutions and get people to collaborate, focusing on what matters most for the end-user.

    About the department
    You will report to the P&O Director for GDD and GRT and be a part of a team of highly engaged and fantastic P&O BPs supporting different parts of the R&ED area with a mission of being a proactive, trusted partner to the business.
