With direct reference to our Vice President Quality & Sustainability, you will be part of a strong professional department of 17 employees, who alongside sustainability work within the field of quality, metrology and calibration. More specifically, you will be part of a small team of 5 specialists who all have a cross functional role where the overall objective of the team is to define and drive the implementation of Kamstrup’s Quality & Sustainability Strategy and related initiatives. At the same time the department is responsible for all company certifications as well as Kamstrup’s Integrated Management System and platform.
A job with focus on implementing our sustainability strategy
In this newly established position as Sustainability Specialist, you will be responsible for formalising and implementing Kamstrup’s sustainability strategy and associated long term objectives. You will identify best practice within the industry in terms of sustainable solutions in order to drive operational developments across the different divisions and functions to improve and ensure that sustainability becomes an integral part of our culture and value propositions.
More specifically you will be responsible for:

Personality matters
We are looking for an outgoing, curious, result-oriented Sustainability Specialist with strong engagement and communication skills, who can use previous experience and a great personal drive to contribute to Kamstrup’s continued growth journey. You have a relevant master’s degree within for instance Economics or Engineering. However, it is more crucial that you have at 3-5 years of experience in an international sustainability function from a similar international role. In connection to this, you have a solid experience in working with sustainability compliance programmes as well as strategy implementation and a proven track record in all aspects related to sustainability, preferable with expert knowledge within the Environmental Sustainability area (Climate etc.).
Preferably you have experience with Product Life Cycle Assessments using SimaPro and Environmental Product Declarations and relevant industry experience.
To succeed in this position, it is important that you are self-driven and have a strategic mindset together with the ability to combine it with a high executing focus. Furthermore, you are analytical and work systematically and structured with your tasks. As you will be working cross functional, is it important that you are comfortable with written and oral presentations held in English.

- Finalising and deploying Kamstrup’s sustainability strategy together with Top Management and relevant functions. This includes defining our long term objectives closely linked to our business purpose
- Ensuring legal compliance and monitoring trends in legislation and customer requirements and together with the organization ensure that we timely act in order to always be on the forefront within the sustainability area
- Our sustainability reporting including deliver quarterly sustainability reviews for Top Management
- Aligning internal as well as external communication with Sales, Marketing, Legal, HR etc.
- Being our internal subject matter expert within the Sustainability area together in cooperation with other internal experts within Environment, Health & Safety, HR (Diversity & inclusion) etc.
