Are you an experienced Vendor Manager with strong SAFe Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) and epic maturation competences looking for the right place put your skills and experience to use? What you will be doing DD&IT Development in Novo Nordisk is an integral part of supporting the development of products that improve the lives of patients all over the world. Using the latest – and often bespoke – technologies, you will be close to Novo Nordisk’s clinical heart and become part of creating the future of patient care. Our goal is to improve the clinical experience for patients, doctors and nurses world-wide, and your role will support this journey. Your primarily tasks will include: Work closely together with and managing our strategic partners internally and externally in realizing our ambitious vision for the future of patient care by e.g. making the Strategic Themes and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) come to life Have operational and tactical oversight of the strategic vendors chosen to help us create the needed outcomes and impacts Ensure a smooth process for identifying capacity needs ahead of the curve for better visibility, planning and on/off-boarding Optimize the LPM process together with the Portfolio Manager and Epic Owners ensuring high level of visibility and transparency on state of the portfolio for various levels and needs including Portfolio Sync and Strategic Portfolio Review by re-using, streamlining and linking various Azure DevOps portfolios Organize good and continuous exploration and discovery, hack-a-thons and other events to harvest, and prioritize between, the many opportunities surfacing and match these for best fit to the Strategic Themes and OKRs Guide best-in-class epic maturation ensuring lean and optimized way to mature epics with feedback and learning loops to epic owners (Relentless Improvement and Life-Long Learning), tie-in to existing product and ART teams, leading indicators, benefit hypothesis, minimal viable product(s) and lean business cases The skills we hope to see As an ideal candidate, you have: A Master’s degree in relevant area (Business, Design, IT, Engineering, or other related fields) Extensive experience managing complex contract, vendor and stakeholder setups Proven results from and long-term experience in handling and managing a preferably SAFe LPM setup and Epic Maturation including both the process, tooling, stakeholders and value-driven approach A holistic approach with a flair for distinguishing needs and recognising priority business requirements, and a keen eye for simplification Knowledge of Mind The Product, the Product Decision Stack and Opportunity Trees, UX and Design Thinking are an advantage as well as ability to work as Epic Owner and/or Product Owner In Novo Nordisk people are not just hard skills, and as we value teamwork and personal contributions to maintain a good work environment, we are further looking for a colleague who excels at multi-cultural communication and collaboration in hybrid teams.
